I have spent the last 10 years working or training in the maternal healthcare setting. I’ve worked as a medic, birth doula, labor & delivery nurse, and now after completing two years of midwifery education, I bring you my Birth Planning Workshop.

It’s a twist on traditional childbirth education, where we will delve into all of your options and what they mean. We will discuss topics related to coping, pain management in labor, the physiology of birth, as well as provide a basic understanding of commonly used medical interventions and need to know information about their risks and benefits. Learn helpful tools as to how to communicate with medical staff to increase your chances of being surrounded by a supportive team that’s interested in helping you achieve your goals. Leave this workshop feeling better informed, more confident, and with a “starter birth plan” that was individualized by you throughout the course.
